SECURITY/SAFETY ASSOCIATE

The Safety Associate assists in providing high quality customer service experiences by ensuring visitors are enjoying the library in a  safe manner and in accordance with our patron behavior policies. The Safety Associate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for library patrons and library staff.


custodian - full and part time

The Custodian assists in ensuring positive customer service experiences by providing a clean, orderly and safe facility for the public and library staff.


Librarian - Teen Services Focus

Librarians perform a variety of reference, circulation, customer service, readers advisory, programming, outreach, supervision, location support and librarian in-charge responsibilities.


Library Aide - Part time

The Library Aide plays an essential role in library operations by sorting, straightening, and shelving books and other library materials, and providing general customer service assistance as well as assisting with circulation throughout all locations. 


TEchnology & Digital equity assistant

The Technology & Digital Equity Assistant plays an essential role in providing customer service assistance, training and computer support to patrons. Technology Assistants may also conduct training, programming or outreach activities.


Security/safety supervisor

The Safety Supervisor provides high quality customer service experiences by ensuring visitors are enjoying the library in a  safe manner and in accordance with our patron behavior policies, and work collaboratively with staff to identify and resolve safety and patron behavior concerns. The Safety Supervisor will assist the Safety Associates in the day to day responsibilities and assist the Safety Manager with training and development as well as administrative functions, i.e. scheduling, timesheet review. 


Help desk technician

The Help Desk Technician will utilize the library’s Service Desk ticketing system to track, document, and record changes to the library’s computer systems. The technician will be responsible for helping end users with reported issues, employing customer service skills in resolving issues and engaging staff on site at their location.


events Associate - Part Time

The Events Specialist is at the organizational center of Library event use for staff and the public. The Events Specialist ensures success of events and user experience at the Library, through coordination of library spaces and equipment.


Staff development COordinator

The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for the Library’s employee development and learning programs. This coordinator supports the organizational development, culture, and equity work of the department. This position is at the center of the City Library’s culture of learning and works to coordinate high quality training and professional development opportunities for staff throughout the organization.
