About the Procurement & Contracts Division

The Procurement & Contracts Division operates under the Finance Department of the Salt Lake City Public Library System. This department is responsible for managing all solicitations for goods, services, and construction that support the Library’s operations. The division ensures that all procurement activities comply with applicable laws and policies while promoting transparency, fairness, and best value for the Library and the community it serves.


Current Solicitation Platform

As of December 2024, the Library utilizes the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P), which operates through the Bonfire platform, to post all active solicitations.

Information about current opportunities and awarded contracts from December 2024 onward can be accessed directly through U3P.


Vendor Registration

To participate in the Library’s solicitations, vendors must register through U3P. Registration does not pre-qualify vendors nor guarantee notification of opportunities—it is the vendor’s responsibility to monitor postings on U3P.

To register, visit U3P. First-time users should click the “Register” button in the top right corner and follow the instructions provided.
