The City Library has prepared a draft plan for a phased return to library service. Please note that at this time we do not have any set date for fully reopening. The City Library is following Utah State's official guidelines, "COVID-19 Transmission Index." The City Library’s plan is in accordance with this staged approach. Here you will find what to expect during the different stages of COVID-19 restrictions, and the conditions the Library must meet in order to offer services.

Closed to Staff and Public
  • All locations and book drops closed to the public; due dates and holds extended.
  • All staff are working from home, except as needed to support critical operations. Staff in are following social distancing guidelines at worksites.
  • Library service provided via phone, text, email, social media, and website
  • Staff are developing and offering online programs.
  • Resources shifted to expand access to online services.
