Library Policies

Many aspects of Salt Lake City Public Library services are governed by library policies, which are approved by the Library Board of Directors.


Library Budget

The Salt Lake City Public Library is primarily funded by Salt Lake City property taxes. The Library's budget is passed annually by the Salt Lake City Council. The current budget, including information on library services and strategic plan, can be downloaded below:

Independent Audit

The financial statements of the Salt Lake City Public Library are audited on an annual basis by an independent auditor.
